Field Volunteer Positions are short term ranging from a minimum of 2 weeks to 1 month.
The type of volunteer we are looking for is: patient, flexible, hardworking, able to work in a team and independently, able to adapt to new surroundings and situations, doesn't mind 'doing it tough' for awhile, has a positive "can do" attitude and an excellent sense of humour, is a good communicator, sensitive to cultural differences, has a thick skin, and of course is not overly sensitive to sun and dust exposure. Your program will be tailored to your skills and interests and the length of time you can spend with us as well as our current organisational priorities - which will always come first!

Field Internship Positions require a 3-6 month commitment to the project. They are ideally suited to students looking to gain some professional 'in field' experience. Your position will be based on your study background and the unique skills and attributes you bring with you.
